Itinerary
Tiger Safari – from 5:30 –> 18:00
At about 5:30 the private jeep safari starts in the national park with our best guide & naturalist. You are allowed, as an exclusive guest, to enter earlier in the jungle than the other groups. You also have access to each zone that the other vehicles do not possess. The “zones” are each nine areas. In the early morning, you have the best chance to sight a tiger. There are not only the big majestic cats but also other fascinating animals, including hyenas, deer, turtles, stags, langurs, sloth bears and crocodiles. Not to forget, the colourful birds, good examples are peacocks, kingfisher, flamingos and bee-eaters.
At about 9:30 the other guests will leave the jungle, only a few others will be in the park. That means; You have nature, plants and tigers just for yourself. Afterwards, you can enjoy a good breakfast in the quiet atmosphere. Later, it will take you back to the adventurous search for the Tigers, following the loud alarm calls of the other animals and footprints indicating that a significant cat was walking along there. You don’t have to look for the wildlife all the time; you can also enjoy the picturesque landscape and enchanting flora.
You’ve probably already seen much, but there is a lot more! But first, there is a lunch, a very spectacular meal in the middle of the jungle. The guide also has a lot to tell about the history of the national park or the very famous tiger (families). One example is the Tiger Lady 17 who deceased in 2016; she is still the most photographed tigress in the world, she was beautiful, powerful and had a “symbol” of a fish in her left ear. Likewise, her many children became very popular.
At about 16 o’clock there is a small tea. You explore the jungle deeper and deeper, hear the sounds of nature and observe the animals; it may happen that you see many animals (often deer) in fighting. Enjoy the evening hours and make yourself comfortable in the jeep and continue to follow the Tigers. You have never seen enough in the Ranthambore National Park, there is always a different miracle! At 18 o’clock you drive back to the hotel, where you can finally lie down and sleep. End of the safari.
