Sasan Gir Nationalpark
In the wonderful state of Gujarat lies the unique “Sasan Gir National Park”. There are about 400 – 500 Asiatic lions. These are considered in absolute rarity on the subcontinent. The Gir Reserve was formed in 1975 and is now one of the most famous national parks in India. This exciting experience shows you the wonders of Gir. You will do safaris, enjoy the beautiful scenery and can become in harmony with nature. Other magical and fascinating animals include Indian leopards, quadruped antelopes, sambar, jackals, hyenas, foxes, crocodiles and king cobras. Many birds can also be found in the dry national park, including peacocks, jungle bush quail, white scavenger vulture, pink flamingos, storks, Indian silverbill and common rosefinch. We have also arranged for you a dance performance of an old African tribe (Siddi).

Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Rajkot and Drive to Gir
Today begins the exciting stay in the Gir National Park. The private chauffeur with the car will pick you up after your arrival in Rajkot and take you to the luxurious Taj – The Gateway Hotel Gir Forest. The rest of the day you can rest. In the evening we have arranged for you an African folk dance of the “Siddis”, this is very interesting and fun to see.
Day 2 – Sasan Gir Nationalpark – Safaris
Early in the morning, you start a shared jeep safari in the National Park, with naturalists and guides. Enjoy the beautiful landscape and the lions – as they walk around in their natural environment. On the Safari, you can see many lions and leopards, over 400 lions and over 300 leopards are living in the Nationalpark. Other beautiful species are four-horned antelope, sambar, jackals, hyenas, foxes, crocodiles and king cobras. After the safari, you are back in the hotel, and you can finally have breakfast. The rest of the day can be spent in the beautiful spa, fitness centre or pool. In the evening, a shared jeep safari awaits you again. The Gir Nationalpark is a paradise for birds (e.g. jungle bush quail, pink flamingos, stork and Egyptian vulture).
Day 3 – Drive to Rajkot in the morning & Fly back to Mumbai or Delhi
