This Luxury India Tour Package takes you on the secret tracks of absolute luxury, in fairytale palaces and luxurious tents… From the capital of India; Delhi you drive to the miraculous city Agra – with the Taj Mahal. Further to two spectacular wildlife safaris in Ranthambore, it continues with the “pink” city and the royal Taj Rambagh Palace in Jaipur, across the cities in the Thar Desert: Bikaner and Jaisalmer. In Jodhpur, you will stay at the award-winning Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace. At the end of the journey, you will experience the magical Jawai with its leopards and beautiful nature. The “cherry on the top” is the “Venice of the East”: Udaipur, with the floating Taj Lake Palace.

Day 1

Arrival in Delhi

After a relaxed arrival, your private chauffeur will take you to the beautiful Imperial. The hotel is preserved in a charming colonial-style, dating back to 1931 and is one of the best hotels in Delhi. You have the rest of the day at your leisure. The chauffeur is always at your disposal.

Day 2

Delhi

You will be picked up after breakfast and taken to the private city tour of Old & New Delhi. You will see, among others: the Lal-Qila, the Lotus-Bahai Temple, the Jama Masjid Mosque, the Akshardham Temple, the tomb of Mahatma Gandhi and the Humayun Tomb. The highlight today: You ride a rickshaw through the world famous Chandni-Chowk market.

Day 3

Drive to Agra

One of the seven world wonders, the Taj Mahal in Agra. Today you´ll drive to it. Around noon you will arrive in the city. Check in at the beautiful Oberoi Amarvilas which offers you an anytime view of the Taj Mahal. After a small break, visit the sights of Agra, with the Red Fortress, Itimad-ud-Daula Mausoleum, Mina Masjid and the private mosque of Shah Jahan.

Day 4

Drive to Ranthambore (VIA. FATEHPUR SIKRI)

Continue to Ranthambore, with a stopover in Fatehpur Sikri, the former Mughal capital of Akbar. The National park of Ranthambore is one of the most prestigious in India. It owns well over 45 animal-species and +65 tigers. The luxurious Oberoi Vanyavilas will be your accommodation. In the evening you can listen to the sounds of nature.

Day 5

Ranthambore (SAFARIS)

At about 6 o’clock in the morning, your exclusive and private jeep safari with the best guide and naturalist is on. While the safari, there are only biscuits and water, but you can have breakfast after the safari. The rest of the day you have time to relax or visit the Ranthambore fortress. In the evening another safari.

Day 6

Drive to Jaipur

After breakfast drive to Jaipur, the “pink” city. Around 1853, the Prince of Wales planned his visit to Jaipur, the Maharaja wanted to welcome the prince and demanded that the town should be painted pink. The Taj Rambagh Palace will be your accommodation there; this palace was built in 1835 for the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II and his wife Maharani Gayatri Devi. The palace retains its lavish splendour, extravagant with hand-carved marble and elaborate Mogul gardens. Within this fairy-tale palace, which presents the best of Rajasthan’s royal heritage, you will also experience the most excellent restaurants in Jaipur.

Day 7

Jaipur

Today you will be picked up as usual and taken to the city sightseeing. It begins directly with the best: on elephant back to the top of the Amber fortress. Then you will see impressive buildings such as the Hawa Mahal, the Jantar Mantar Observatory, the Sheesh Mahal Mirror Palace, the Galtaji Temple and the Albert Hall. Enjoy the rest of the day, take a tour of the palace and relax.

Day 8

Drive to Bikaner

Today you will be driven to Bikaner. The town is known for its annual camel festival and the Junagarh fortress. Your hotel will be the Laxmi Niwas Palace, a red-sandstone palace built around 1903. After a break, visit the fort.

Day 9

Drive to Jaisalmer

Your chauffeur will drive you today to Jaisalmer, the “golden” city. The grandiose Meherangarh fortress towers over her. The drive is interrupted by many waterholes in the vast desert, women in their colourful saris with water jugs on their heads and camels. After 5 hours you have reached your destination. The luxurious Serai Jaisalmer offers an unforgettable view of the Dunes.

Day 10

Jaisalmer

After breakfast, you will be taken to a visit of Jaisalmer. You will see there: the Jaisalmer fortress, many Havelis (palace-style residential buildings), the Gadisar lake, some Jain temples and the Bada Bagh cenotaph. At the coronation, there is a camel ride in the beautiful sunset.

Day 11

Drive to Jodhpur

Continue to the “blue” city, Jodhpur. Upon arrival, the famous, extravagant and one of the most massive buildings in the world is your accommodation: the Umaid Bhawan Palace. With 11 acres of building area and 15 acres of land, it is merely a fairytale palace, divided into three sections today. One part is the property of the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace, the other is a fascinating museum, and the last part is the living part of today’s Maharaja.

Day 12

Jodhpur

After breakfast, the city sightseeing is on. Among the other highlights are the Meherangarh fortress, Mandore Garden, Jaswant Tada, Kehjarla Fortress and Mahamandir Temple.

Day 13

Drive to Jawai Bandh

You will be heading today to Jawai Bandh, known for its leopards. After a 3 hour drive, check in at the incredible Jawai Camp (Relais & Chateaux). The luxurious tent, in which you will reside in, is not the only fascinating thing, but also the enchanting landscape.

Day 14

Jawai Bandh (Leopard Safaris)

In the early morning and the evening, there are Shared-Jeep Safaris. You have good chances to observe leopards in the wild. The rest of the day you can enjoy the scenery and the camp. The hotel also offers enjoyable activities, which can be organised on-site only.

Day 15

Drive to Udaipur (VIA. RANAKPUR)

You will leave the hotel and drive to the “Venice of the East”; Udaipur. Upon arrival, the chauffeur will take you to the stunning Taj Lake Palace. The incredible thing is: the whole hotel is on the water, you can reach it only by a 20-minute boat ride on the Sandar Ghat. Stepping out of the boat, you will be gently showered with rose petals and greeted with a refreshing drink.

Day 16

Udaipur

After breakfast, you visit the Sights of the romantic city. You will see, among other things, the City Palace on the shores of Lake Pichola, the Sahelion-ki-Bari, the Monsoon Palace and Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal. In the afternoon, a stunning boat trip awaits you on the picturesque lake.

Day 17

Fly back to Delhi & End of the Tour

Fly back to Delhi. This is the last day of the Roundtrip, you have to say goodbye. Transfer to the International Airport.
